As tough as it is to admit, EVERYONE POOPS!
While it is not one of the fanciest topic to be discuss buttttt it is very important! Healthy and frequent bowel movements show us that our digestive system is working and our guts are HAPPY.
Unfortunately, gut health has been overlooked when it should really been focused on. Everything starts with your GUT and your digestion.
Without proper care of your gut and digestive system, you may happen to come across:
- Bloated stomach
- Excessive weight gain
In order to properly absorb nutrients from our food & supplements and to rid of the waste, our guts need to be in a healthy condition. Difficult and infrequent bowel movements can certainly lead to unhealthy gut.
Here’s what I would do for a healthy and frequent bowel movements:
- Include fibre in my diet – if you are having trouble with your bowel movements, it’s very possible you don’t have enough dietary fibre in your diet. Apples is a good examples as the pectin in apple is amazing at binding up toxins in your body and flushing them out as waste
- Eat a lot of leafy dark greens – dark leafy greens is a great source of magnesium. Another reason you’re not going to the toilet often is the lack of magnesium in your body.
- – As I told you above, gut health is of upmost importance when it comes to bowel movements and the elimination of wasted from your body. For this reason I am including fermented foods. They help restore the good, healthy bacteria to your gut. Yes there is good and bad bacteria and fermented foods can help restore the good bacteria in your gut. A happy gut = good bowel movements!
